Serenading Seoul Seoul life through the eyes of Stephanie Maria Medryk (although here I'm more likely known as 마리아), a Digital Media student currently studying at Ewha Womans University. Photos, thoughts, experiences, songs stuck in my head I hear on the street. This is my new life.

I’m studying here through my Canadian University’s exchange program and I requested to stay for 2 semesters, and I will use my summer break to study Korean at Ewha, so by the end of August I will have stayed an entire 12 months :) It’s definitely possible to do your graduate here, I plan to do the same after I finish my Undergraduate ^^ |

I don't really care what you upload, as long as it's just as beautiful as the rest of your photography (AKA ALL OF YOUR PICTURES ;D) So, yeah, keep it up ^^ Also, I have a question: is it hard staying in Korea as a student? And how is the University? ^^ 히히히히 Thank you thank you thank you ♥!!!!!!! Day’s off to a great start :D As for it being hard, it sometimes is because of language and culture barriers but it gets easier. You get a lot more respect for being a student here than just a tourist or an English teacher, and I feel you get a better experience as well. You get to make a lot of wonderful Korean & international friends and experience the really unique and fun university student life (school festivals, concerts, club activities, dormitory life etc)! My university is wonderful! The campus is beautiful and the facilities modern, the teachers are great and the courses interesting ^^ |

YO, FOLLOWERSWhat’s good, what’s good, it’s been a while. Been busy, been sick, routine Korea stuff for me. Just outta curiosity, if I upload concert photos will I lose some of you again? Last time I uploaded photos from a concert I lost like 15 followers and I was all ‘wat.’ So do I have your permission, oh lovely tumblrites? Life’s good in Korea, as usual, can’t complain. Spring is here which quickly turned to summer. I saw cherry blossoms for the first time in my life and it was overwhelming. I understand the romanticism about it all, I have never seen such a beautiful sight as the sky painted in pale pink flowers. So yeah.. Expect that and more :) Thanks for sticking with me, everyone~ |
